Work on the Eco-Schools Programme grows
16th Apr 2014
As part of the Eco-Schools Programme Year 8 and Year 10 pupils planted sunflower seeds and strawberry plants to increase the species biodiversity around the school grounds
Year 10 pupils are studying seed germination in Biology and will be in charge of controlling the conditions for germination to take place. The pupils will be responsible for ensuring the correct growing conditions are created to promote healthy plants that will survive outside.
The pupils hope to harvest the strawberries in June!
